Business Club Learns to Diversify Products
Small Industries Development Organization (SIDO) Teaches Valuable Business Lessons
Earlier this week SEGA welcomed volunteers from Small Industries Development Organization (SIDO) to campus. Over the course of the next 9 days SIDO will teach SEGA’s Business Club members valuable ways to make a number of different products in order to diversify their sellable goods. The girls will learn how to make jam, pickles, wine, potato crisps, dried veggies and flour. SIDO will complete the training program by teaching the students effective packaging, labeling and marketing strategies.
These business lessons emphasize practical hands-on experience so the girls can easily apply their new skills and knowledge to SEGA business such the duka or poultry farm. While the SIDO program has only just begun the girls are learning a lot and having fun!
Thank you SIDO!
