Sega Construction Update!
Building Projects Progress Quickly
Thanks to a USAID grant and matching funds from generous supporters across the US, Sega is undergoing significant renovations and expansions. The school’s contractor and team are making rapid progress tackling these projects and expanding Sega’s infrastructure.
Of the many construction projects, we are pleased to say that we are three weeks ahead of schedule on our Teaching Staff House, Laundry facility and Infirmary, and are making steady progress on our Multipurpose building. The Multipurpose building, to be completed by the end of May, will equip Sega with two laboratories, an art room, a library with 15 computers and space for books and reading, a computer lab with 35 computers, an extra classroom, a staff room, and multipurpose/meeting/assembly hall. We can’t wait for the Multipurpose building to be completed!
Additionally, we have already finished another staff house for guards, the entranceway and parking lot, and fencing of the entire campus! Once all the buildings are completed by the end of May, the final stage will be paving stone walkways connecting all the buildings throughout the campus (which will be particularly helpful in the mud season!).
The completion of these projects will be very exciting and beneficial for Sega and its students. We are incredibly grateful to all of those who are making these developments possible!
