How to Get Involved

There are many ways to become involved with Nurturing Minds and help us to raise funds to educate the SEGA students:

Join Us3Join (or start!) a Regional Chapter/SEGA Club

Our supporters have found that it’s more fun to raise funds together!

We have regional chapters in Colorado, Massachusetts, New York, Washington DC, Philadelphia, and Connecticut that organize friend and fundraising events throughout the year. For more information on a chapter in your area, please see the details on regional chapters below.

If you have a group of friends, who would like to form a Regional Chapter/SEGA Club, we would be delighted to hear from you – please contact us.

Start a SEGA Club at your school…

… and form a School Partnership with the SEGA Girls School.

Join Us2Sponsor a Student

See if your book group, family, school group, coffee group etc… would be interested in sponsoring a SEGA student  together – this spreads the cost of sponsorship, and gives a more meaningful experience.

Get Your Church or Community Group Involved

Share information about Nurturing Minds and the SEGA Girls School with your church or community group, and suggest that they help to raise funds.

  • Joining our advisory board to support us with your skills in business development, non-profit law, or corporate fundraising
  • Researching foundations and corporations
  • Designing and writing promotional literature and newsletters
  • Connecting us with foundations, organizations, and major donors
  • Introducing us to solar energy suppliers and IT suppliers who might donate equipment to complete our current construction
